The Democrat-led Majority Caucus in the Alaska State House formed on February 14, 2019. On that day, Bryce Edgmon was elected as Speaker of the House. The caucus currently consists of the 23 members shown above.
Initially, the caucus consisted of 25 members.
On 5/3/19, Rep. Gabrielle LeDoux voted to approve the senate’s version of the budget and was removed from the caucus for doing so.
On 7/11/19, Rep. Tammie Wilson voted to support Gov. Mike Dunleavy’s budget vetoes and made a brief appearance at the legislative special session in Wasilla called by Gov. Dunleavy. She was removed from the caucus for doing so.
